On the 25 May 2018 a new European privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), came into force. It is meant to strengthen the rights of EU citizens when personal data are being processed (by which we mean collected, stored, transferred etc). APEF is committed to complying with EU data protection regulation:
- We only collect personal data with the purpose of keeping users informed on the activities of APEF and its network. Personal data are not passed on to third parties in any way, all communication you will receive is from APEF
- APEF has and will maintain technical and organisational measures to ensure the security of your data.
- You can withdraw your consent to receive information about APEF and its network at any time.
- In the event of a security incident, APEF will notify you without delay after becoming aware of the incident and will inform you about the next steps to protect your data.
